To receive a phone number for activation purposes, you need to register, confirm your email, and add funds to your Grizzly SMS balance. Your Grizzly SMS balance is charged for each received code. Sometimes, your funds are added to a Grizzly SMS account with a slight delay (10 — 60 minutes). Generally, the issue is caused by technical difficulties on the payment system side. How to get a number and activate an account?
To receive a virtual number, you need to:

After topping up your balance, you will pay only for received codes. If a code did not reach a purchased active number, your balance will be refunded within 20 minutes after the purchase. Or, if you press “Cancel” due to long wait time. If a code arrived, funds will not be refunded as the number will be considered activated/used.
How long does it take for a code to be received?
When activating an account using Grizzlysms.com, an SMS message usually arrives just as quickly as when using a real number. However, we suggest waiting for at least 7-10 minutes before cancelling a number. If the wait time is too long, you can decline to use a virtual number by clicking the “Cancel” button and get a new one.
In case of getting a number from a country where you don’t reside physically, you should use a VPN, since popular online services have learned how to match the country of origin of a mobile provider and the physical location of a user.

Our single-use numbers cannot be issued repeatedly and can receive only 1 SMS message. Some messengers/online services (for example, Telegram) allow you to link another device to an account created using our numbers with a QR-code (“Devices” — “Link Destop Device”)

You cannot receive a phone call on our numbers. If a messenger or a social network suggests using a call instead of an SMS message, you need to:
— log out from other accounts on the device;
— change your IP-address;

There are two options for renting a number:
Full rental - in this case, you can receive all SMS, the services of which are presented in our catalog. To do this, simply select Rent and All Services at the top of the website
Rent a number for a specific service. In this case, you will receive SMS only from the service you have chosen. To do this, you just need to select a specific service, logic is the same as with the purchase of a regular activation
I don’t see the service I need. Which number should I buy to receive a code?
You can use service AnyOther. But there is no guarantee that you can get the code
I tried many different numbers at Grizzly SMS, not a single one received an SMS message.
We cannot guarantee 100% SMS message delivery on each purchased number to our users. Algorithms on the side of online services may block SMS message deliveries to single-use numbers due to different reasons. Sometimes, it takes 15-20 attempts for a single successful delivery and it’s normal. Such issues are common for Telegram, Whatsapp, and several other services.
Here is how you can increase your chances to receive an SMS:
— try other numbers again and again;
— try other countries (recommended countries can be seen on the main page);
— change your IP address (use a VPN service);
— Log out from other accounts on the device.
After entering the number, I found out that the number was busy (didn’t receive a code)/banned
After topping up the balance, you pay only for numbers that received codes successfully. If you an issue with a number was discovered before receiving an SMS, you can always cancel or try another one.

What I need to know before buying ready accounts?
1) Accounts purchased on the “Buy Accounts” page are guaranteed for 20 minutes after purchase.
2) If you want to be on the safe side and be able to replace purchased accounts, you should enable screen recording and record the actions from the moment of purchase to the moment of account verification, including information about the use of proxies. It is important that you can only get a refund if you use verified proxies. If free ones are used, in this case replacement will not be possible.
