After the mass departure of popular foreign brands from the Russian market, many Russians have turned their attention to the Kazakh market. And it's not surprising, as you can not only order goods through Kazakhstan at more affordable prices than local marketplaces, but also gain access to clothing, electronics, cosmetics, and other useful/pleasant items that are no longer available in Russia.
Is it possible to order from Kazakhstan?
There are various nuances that complicate this question, but overall, we can confidently say "yes". Direct delivery from Kazakh marketplaces to Russia is not available (as marketplaces are not eager to risk cooperation with foreign brands). However, there are alternative ways to order from Kazakhstan.
So, if you want to buy an Apple mobile phone, a Zara dress, or bioactive supplements from iHerb in the neighboring country, you can use one of two options:
- Order items from Kazakhstan on the website of a Russian marketplace that operates abroad, such as Ozon Global;
- Make purchases using an international delivery service, such as CDEK Shopping;
- Use the services of buyers (online services, social media groups or messengers, private buyers from classified ads platforms).
